Located on Palmer St, Gelatissimo Townsville is the best place to treat yourself to gelato in sunny Townsville. Our local store owners, Astrid and Bob, and their amazing team are always up for a friendly chat! We’ve also got delicious desserts, and smooth shakes to suit every appetite.

    Gelato made in-house is every flavour-lover's call-to-adventure

    and there were some excellent flavours.

    Settling on a 3-scoop cup instead of a waffle-cone, and enjoying the outdoor gelato-garden seating, I explored pistachio flavour-country combined with the green apple and hazel nut as my guides.

    Gelatissimo has won this battle in the Game of Gelato with its texture profile supporting the first line of tastes

    Used to be a long time customer, and recently visited again since they moved a while ago. Atmosphere was just as great as always, loved the variety and changes in flavours. Had a try of their new Mango Sticky Rice which was a tasty spin off of their Mango Sorbet (my usual go to). My favourite is Mango with Nutella, sometimes I have a scoop of coconut or green apple. Would go back again! Great service and great staff, always smiling!

    Really nice gelato.
    I recommend the lemon and passionfruit sorbets. They really clean your palette.
    Service is good; we say down after being served and a lovely young lady came along and lowered the shade blinds to keep us comfortable.
