At Gelatissimo Pty Ltd we take privacy seriously. Any information that is collected from visitors to www.gelatissimo.com.au or otherwise from customers, staff, franchisees and potential franchisees is treated respectfully and managed ethically. Our privacy policy is governed by the PDPA. Please read below for further details.
Franchise Applications
As part of our due diligence in the franchise application process, Gelatissimo Pty Ltd will collect personal information, some of which will be sensitive in nature. Express written consent is requested from all applicants in order for us to verify the accuracy of the information and check references. If the franchise application is successful, all personal information contained therein will become part of the franchisee’s record file. If the franchise application is unsuccessful all information provided to Gelatissimo Pty Ltd will be securely destroyed.
Job Applications and Resumes
Job applications and resumes received by Gelatissimo Pty Ltd may be forwarded to Gelatissimo franchisees but are expressly used to determine the suitability of the applicant for any positions available within the Gelatissimo network at the time of the application. If a job application is successful, the personal details contained therein will become part of the applicant’s employee record file. The details of unsuccessful applicants will be kept on record and considered for future positions as they become available.
Promotions
We conduct regular promotions and loyalty programs including Club Gelato. By choosing to participate in these activities customers are asked to provide personal information including their gender, name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth. This information may then be used for direct marketing and/or market research proposes to improve the level of products and services we offer.
Disclosure of information
Gelatissimo Pty Ltd takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the confidentiality of all personal information provided to us and as such it will not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent.
Withdrawal of consent to use information
If you have provided personal information to Gelatissimo Pty Ltd and you no longer wish us to retain this information and/or no longer wish to receive direct marketing communication from us please notify us by e-mail via info@ gelatissimo.com.au or call us on (02) 8845 0100.
